"Zosia" (CH Rivendall Kordegarda z Kuznia Dobrych Klimatow) was born in Poland on April 14, 2005, at the kennel of Malgorzata Winter and was imported to the USA in June, 2005. Zosia's mother is Ilara Kordegardy from the Winter Kennel, carrying the last of the Kordegardy lines. Her father is Ch. Absolwent Rivendall from the prestigious kennel Rivendall; hence, Zosia's name comes from both her parents, Rivendall Kordegarda!
Zosia's dam, Ilara, was born from the last breeding of the Kordegarda line which has now ended with the passing of it's founder and breeder: Dr. Danuta Hryniewicz on September, 16, 2007. (Dr. Danuta is credited for saving PONs from extinction after WW II in war-torn Poland and establishing her famous Kordegardy lines as we know and love them today.)
Hopefully, soon, Zosia will carry on these wonderful genes and characteristics from the Kordegarda line and the Rivendall line through her own progeny!

Indeed, Zosia has produced 5 lovely PON puppies. One handsome male and four lovely female pups. (Zosia also came from a litter of 5).
AKC Champion, Zosia Rivendall
(After just giving birth to 5 lovely pups, Zosia competes in MA and wins her second major. Although she wasn't in her best "Show" coat, Judge Reasin liked her movement and attitude enough to give her the win! A very important win, as she now has the necessary points to be labeled an AKC Champion!)
It's so hard to believe that our sweet little Zosia is 5 years old today!!! How time flies. And our beautiful chocolate lab, Duncan is 8!! Happy Birthday to my best companions!

CH Absolwent Rivendall, from Poland, is Zosia's sire, (12/29/99). He has an extensive show career consisting of International Championships: European Winner, Paris, 2002; Polish Champion; Polish Youth Champion; Berlin Winner, 2002; Youth Club Winner, 2001; Best Junior of Club, 2001; 2x Youth BIS; 1 x II Youth BIS; and 7 x Cacib. Second place in Open Class (2/17) - World Dog Show in Poznan ~ 2006 and Best Veteran ~ Club Show, Bydgoszcz, 2008 and Finnish Champion.
